Resolution accepting the 2025 Department of Justice award of the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Microgrant for the purchase of an MX908 device (a device that identifies unknown substances in the field), and partial funding of the Peregrine Software Solutions contract, in the amount of $175,000, for the project period of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2027, and authorizing the Nevada County Sheriff to execute the award documents and certifications.
