Public hearing to consider the Nevada County Planning Commission’s May 10, 2018, 4-0 (one absent) recommendation on a property owner request to approve the rezone (RZN17-0002) of two contiguous parcels comprised of approximately 306 acres (consisting of six APNS; 38-330-01, -02, -03, -04, -87 and -86) from “TPZ-40” (Timberland Production Zone, 40 acre minimums) to “RA-10” (152 acres Residential Agriculture with 10 acre minimums) and “AG-30” (154 acres General Agriculture with 30 acre minimums). If approved, the rezone will initiate the TPZ ten-year roll-out process in compliance with the California Government Code Section 51100 et seq. (Dists. I and V)
