Nevada County Board of Supervisors will consider funding for its contractor to purchase certain real property described as 0.28 acres of real property with a single-family home located in the City of Grass Valley from Michael and Carolyn Inglis, for a total cost of $799,000. The Board of Supervisors will be considering the amendment of an existing contract with Nevada County Housing Development Corporation (Contractor). The amendment will provide funding for Contractor to purchase a property to be owned by Contractor contingent on a 55-year deed restriction (interest) for the Contractor to use the property for permanent supportive housing. The County’s interest in this property will be the deed restriction.

 

Resolution approving Amendment 2 to the contract between the County of Nevada and Nevada County Housing Development Corporation for services related to Behavioral Health’s community-based housing projects and housing for residents with a mental health disability for authorized program participants (Res. 21-288), increasing the maximum contract price from $405,760 to $1,305,760, revising Exhibit “A”, Schedule of Services, to reflect the addition of funding to purchase permanent supportive housing, and revising Exhibit “B”, Schedule of Charges and Payments, to reflect the increase in the maximum contract price, for the period July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, authorizing the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute the amendment, and directing the Auditor-Controller to amend the Fiscal Year 2021/22 Behavioral Health budget.
